The conference aims at analyzing, through case studies and historical overviews, the processes of reception, appropriation and theorization of the Pentecost story through literature, the arts and the history of ideas.

Die Tagung möchte anhand von Fallstudien und historischen Abrissen die Prozesse der Rezeption, Aneignung und Theoretisierung der Pfingsterzählung in der Literatur, den Künsten und der Ideengeschichte analysieren.
