In the eyes of the DAAD, the end of a funding period marks the beginning of a long-standing relationship with us. We aim to stay in touch with our alumni as well as help you get to know one another through a series of programmes and activities. We also support you in setting up regional DAAD alumni clubs and other forms of networking opportunities.
Our alumni programmes provide subsequent support to former DAAD scholarship holders by offering a number of funding opportunities within the global DAAD alumni network.
There are DAAD alumni all over the world. More than 160 clubs in 98 countries promote communication between former scholarship holders and help them to keep in touch with their host institutions and the DAAD. The French Alumni Association DAAD Alumni France was founded in 2013.
We are keen at the DAAD to stay in touch with our former scholarship holders. The conclusion of a DAAD scholarship marks the beginning of an active, long-term cooperative partnership with us in the shape of a network of alumni associations around the world.
Former outgoing DAAD scholarship holders have the opportunity to join our Germany alumni network in order to stay in touch and raise new contacts. Register now!
